About Us...

 

Napa Valley College is a certified American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center serving Northern California. Napa CPR provides the following to meet your learning and scheduling needs:

 

  • Instructor-led course (in-person) training conducted in a classroom setting featuring group interaction and hands-on coaching and feedback from an AHA Instructor
  • Blended learning course training, which includes an online portion along with a scheduled hands-on skills session with an AHA Instructor

 

Napa CPR offers the following AHA courses: 

 

  • Healthcare Professionals (Nurses, First Responders, Doctors, and more)
    • (BLS) Basic Life Support CPR & AED (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & Automated External Defibrillator)
    • (ACLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
    • (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support

 

  • General Public (Workforce: Construction, Childcare, Caregivers, Health & Fitness, Hospitality, and more)

PLEASE NOTE: Classes continue to be offered during the pandemic as they do meet the need to train essential workers. To assure the safety and healthy working conditions of Napa CPR participants and our AHA Instructors, CDC guidelines will be followed with the wearing of masks (participants are to bring their own) and social distancing within the classroom. Gloves will be provided to participants and manikins will not be shared.

* The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course matierials, do not represent income to the AHA.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you must cancel a "face to face" class that you have registered for, your cancellation notification must be received by email to ccattolica@napavalley.edu 48-hours prior to the class date and start time. If your notification is received 48-hours prior to the class date and start time, you will be able to reschedule your attendance at a future class at no additional charge. If you would like to request a refund, you will have up to 72-hours prior to the class date and start time to do so. Please note: There will be a 10% processing fee subtracted from your refund. In addition, etextbooks are not eligible for refunds. If you are a 'no show' at the scheduled class that you have registered for, this will result in your ineligibility to reschedule for a future class at no additional charge or to receive a refund for that particular class. You will, however be able to register for a future class and pay the full costs of that class. We reserve the right to cancel a class at any time for unforeseen circumstances.
